Technical Training Overview and Schedule

Course Types
Technical Training courses occur regularly at Equiinet's HQ in Swindon.

Two one day courses are held on consecutive days of the week - usually Tuesday and Wednesday. This allows delegates who are travelling some distance to stay locally to our training centre overnight, and undertake all training within a two day period. Alternatively, attendees may choose to take Part 1 and then Part 2 at some later date.

Part 1 - NetPilot Technical Training Course
This one day theory and practical course is designed for Network Administrators and Installers who wish to gain a technical introduction to the NetPilot range and technology, as well as discover what information resources are available. Delegates will gain hands-on experience configuring Email, Browsing controls, and UTM services such as Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Email Policies and URL filtering. Simpler elements of the Firewall are also covered.

Part 2 - NetPilot Technical Training Course
This one day theory and practical course follows on from the NTT Part 1 Training Course and delves more deeply into the NetPilot range and technology.
Delegates will gain further experience regarding VPN (CIPE, IPSec, OpenVPN and Clients), Advanced Firewall, Fault Finding, and Log file Analysis.
Note: Participants must have recently attended Part1 as a prerequisite. Attendees will be expected to undertake LAB sessions in Part 2 previously covered in Part 1 unaided.

Technical Training Costs
Each of the one day training courses is individually priced at £350 per delegate (£700 for the two day course). Discounts are available for multiple delegate bookings.

Course Times
Unless advised otherwise, attendees are expected to arrive at Equiinet's training centre at 09:00 for 09:30 start. Courses will usually finish 16:30 to 17:00. Meals and refreshments are provided.
