UTM for NetPilot models

NetPilot products are the most comprehensive security appliances available by virtue of our Unified Threat Management (UTM) options. Along side offerings for protection against viruses, spyware, and spam etc., an advanced firewall plus intrusion detection/prevention technology are also provided.

To simplify the number of potential option combinations, we have two 12 month subscription-based UTM protection packs:UTM Standard and UTM Premium. Both provide users with enhanced security and flexibility in a single Internet appliance.

Those employing either of these UTM options regardless of which NetPilot hardware model they choose additionally have user and time based controls, caching, VPN functionality and much more - built-in as standard.

• UTM Standard comprises the key UTM facilities and is designed for users who don't need all the advanced features offered by UTM Premium. UTM Standard includes AV for email based on Clam, anti-spam, email policy controls, URL filtering, advanced firewall and access to the software upgrade service.

• UTM Premium comprises all available enhanced UTM facilities and is designed for organisations who demand the highest levels of security available. This pack has the most Checkmark accreditations of any UTM product currently available. It includes AV for email and browsing from Sophos, anti-spam, email policy controls, URL filtering, anti-spyware, advanced firewall, IDS/IPS, and access to the software upgrade service

Which pack ships with which new products:

NetPilot Vanguard and NetPilot Globemaster come complete with 12 months bundled subscription to UTM Premium Protection.

NetPilot Guardsman units come complete with a 12 month subscription to the UTM Standard pack.

NetPilot Guardsman can be upgraded by purchasing a UTM Premium license.
