SoHoBlue- 50 and 100 models
are equipped with all gigabit Ethernet ports and SSD (Solid State Disks) drives as part of a fan-less design providing extra reliability. Both models have dual processor Intel CPUs and 2 Gigabytes of RAM as minimum - giving plenty of performance. Our engineers were beaming with pride having put them up against competitive products from Sonicwall and Watchguard in recent performance tests. All NetPilot and SoHoBlue units keep themselves automatically updated protecting against all the latest network threats.
SoHoBlue units are designed and built in the UK by NIS Ltd.
New Software v6.1.8
All new NetPilot and SoHoBlue models are currently shipping with v6.1.8 which implements the latest 3.2 kernel and rolls up all the previous 6.1.x releases and provides a number of fixes. Interesting features include support for BT Infinity and KC Lightstream - both of which use PPoE protocols. More IPSec VPN options have also been incorporated to allow better integration with Cisco's various IPSec implementations. In addition new out-of-office messaging features are also included.
